Size: 14.2 KB

The most cost effective and comprehensive solution to migrate compatible Honeywell/ADEMCO VISTA-20P and VISTA-15P panels to Alarm.com’s interactive services.
Supports the 3G HSPA cellular network, the SEM ensures the longest life-cycle with the most secure and reliable service.

    Specifications Compatibility
    - Honeywell/ADEMCO Vista 15P and Vista 20P and equivalent panels
    - Currently supports single-partition systems
    - At this time, the SEM does not work with AUI devices, including the 6280, Tuxedo Touch, and other touchscreen keypads. However, there will be an Over the Air update that will make the SEM compatible with these devices soon. For now, the SEM should not be installed on a system with an AUI device, such as a touchscreen keypad.

    Features
-Fast, Reliable & Secure Wireless Signaling
    -No Separate Power Supply Needed
-Remote Monitoring & Control via Web/Mobile

Just a few questions! Who carries the module and how much is it? Is it full capture? Will it allow someone to have Alarm.com with a Honeywell panel? Is it difficult to install?

You can buy one here http://buy2gig.com/System-Enhancement-Module.html

It will allow a Honeywell Vista 15P or Vista 20P to work with all the Features of Alarm.com, Communications will be via the Verizon Cellular network and there is a Z-Wave Radio to allow the full automation that alarm.com offers.

It is an easy as installing and configuring a keypad on a vista panel, we will work on getting a training video for DIY users

Please let us know if you have any other questions, this currently will only work with Vista 15/20 panels, there will be support for other panels in the near future

ADC SEM - Prom version needed...

Interested in adding this to a FA168 (vista20p). I read somewhere the panel has to have a chip newer than 2013, is this true and what version does the chip need to be. I was able to acquire a v9.13 but mfg date is 2011. Thanks for any and all help...

Please see attached going through the enrollment process it recommends any version of the panel being newer than 2005, currently installed is a 2007 and I have an upgraded prom with the v9.13 mfg in 2011. Is there any information to support a need to replace the prom? Or should we go with the old adage "if it ain't broke don't fix it". Thanks!

    ADDING Z-WAVE DEVICES
Below are a few tips to keep in mind while setting up a Z-Wave network for SEM accounts:

Before adding devices to the network, make sure to put the devices in their final locations. This way, the network can correctly identify the strongest communication pathway for each device.

Always add devices closest to the panel first, and work outwards from there. Devices that have already been added can relay the panel’s ”Add Mode” signal to add farther devices to the network.

Make sure each device adds successfully before moving on to the next device. The panel (L2 goes solid),will indicate that a device has been added to the network. Once added it will show on alarm.com if you have a Service Plan that includes those Devices

    1. Locate the Alarm.com Security Enhancement Module.
    2. Press and hold the red button on the module for 5-10 seconds, releasing when the L2 LED flashes in groups of four.
3, Trigger a device to add it to the network.
    4. When a device is added successfully, the L2 LED will go solid.
    5. You will need to re-enter Add Mode before triggering the next device.

Devices should show up on the Alarm.com Customer Website, Alarm.com App within five minutes of adding the devices.
