We are pleased to announce the new 2GIG Bypass Door/Window Sensor (2GIG-DW40-345). We are waiting on our stock order.
This micro-sized door/window contact gives you the ability to set a temporary bypass on a zone at the push of a button,
rather requiring you to disarm and then re-arm the security system.
After pressing and holding the integrated bypass button the sensor will remain bypassed until the contact closes again.
This features works with any version of the 2GIG GC2 Panel.

I am confused as the GC2 (GC2.0 panel) is known as the "Vivint Sky panel" and does not use firmware 1.13 or 1.14.

Are you instead refering to the GC panel (CNTRL1/CNTRL2)? This panel is commonly refered to as the "GC1" to differentiate it from the GC2.0 /Sky Control, and the upcoming GC3

Otherwise, I guess it is awesome that Vivint GC2 panel users will soon be able to use the DW40...

The DW40 will work with all versions of the GO Control CNTRL1 & CNTRL2 and the New GC3 When it comes out, With Firmware 1.14 (Coming out around September) you will have the ability to log the bypass
