Question Thermostat Battery Showing 74% While Plugged In

Why would my thermostat battery show 74% when I have the CP plugged in?

I'm checking the battery percentage through the CP. Also, I have the larger battery installed.

Bad battery? I've only had it for a few months, bought brand new from eBay.

    Which Thermostat?

They take Double AA Batteries unless you have 24Volts at the stat

The CP does not power the thermostats it only displays the status, check under the door/cover there are batteries

Right..I know the CP doesn't power anything, I was just looking and happened to see the 74% on its monitor and was wondering why, when plugged in, the batteries are showing anything less than 100%. Or is the monitor telling me the 4AA batteries status instead of the 2gig NiMH extended life battery pack?

    I didn't install the thermostat. It's the CT100.

There are AA batteries - 4 I believe. Not sure if 24V available or not.

What you are seeing is the battery status of the CT100
