Question How do I know if I have a GC1 or GC2 and the latest firmware?

Alarm company did the install of my 2GIG system yesterday and guaranteed it was the "latest and greatest 2GIG had to offer" for both the device and firmware, I know how to get to the version information but where can I compare to ensure this this is true?

To check/compare firmware of the Go!Control panel, see:

    2GIG Go!Control "GC1" (three hardware versions)
    2GIG Go!2.0 "GC2" * (AKA Vivint "SKY" panel)
    2GIG GC3 (Coming Soon in 2015)

    Go!Control 3.75" (2013/2014 revision):

Go!2.0 7" (original UI 2012): click here to see current "Sky" panel 2014 Iteration

    GC3 7" (2015 release):
    * the firmware used by the Sky panel is based on old 2GIG firmware and offers zwave and 2GIG/Honeywell 345mhz sensor/panel support back from 2011-2012. Newer equip is not supported. There is no support for example, for 2GIG 900mhz devices (2GIG IMAGE1, or 2GIG-TS1), or for newer zwave gear such as energy meters, Schlage locks, etc. It is Vivint's responsibility to update the firmware, and provide device support.
